Tortola Luxury Villa – Frenchman’s Lookout
Posted Under: British Virgin Islands, Tortola Villa Rentals
Frenchman’s Lookout November 8, morning
We took an early Saturday morning visit to Frenchman’s Lookout on Frenchman’s Cay, which is connected to Tortola by a small bridge. Driving up the hill to the villa then entering the electric gates swept us away from the everyday and into a truly charming locale. The villa sits on the side of the hill looking over to St. John, USVI. Private, secluded on acres of land the feel is of being in your own estate. The estate features wrap around balconies, five large bedrooms rooms, a guest cottage, private freshwater pool area away from the main villa and mature landscaping. All of the amenities combine to provide a bit of Southern charm in the BVI.
You can relax and enjoy the various yachts sailing along Sir Francis Drake channel with the occasional ferry on their way to West End, St. Thomas or Road town. This well-appointed, family friendly house is the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time together. Tortola’s beaches are a short drive away with the marina on Frenchman’s Cay a 2 minute drive away. At the marina, there is Pusser Landing Restaurants, shopping, a dive Shop, and boat rental services. At the same time you are in your own private secluded spot in the BVI.
I liked this villa for its relaxed atmosphere. Not contemporary it had a very charming, home-spun feel to it. Being at the Frenchman’s Lookout is like having your own plantation style house in the BVI.
