Aquamare Villa – Inspection

On this trip I visited Villa 3, which is the 3^rd of the three Aquamare villas in the enclave at Mahoe Bay on Virgin Gorda.

The 3 villas have the same floor plan with the only difference being their position in the enclave. Villa 1 is closest to the beach with Villa 2 behind Villa 1 and Villa 3 behind and to the right of Villa 1. When I visited in 2007, Villa 3 and 2 were in various stages of completion, and had ladders to the different floors and no stairs. It was great to see all three villas completed and fully operational.

I was impressed with the villa’s upkeep. All were guest-ready, though not occupied at the time. Gino the Villa Manager was not expecting us, so it was even more impressive knowing that anyone can check in at the last minute and the villa would be ready. The villas offer wonderful ocean views from the 3 master suites, which all have balconies and oceanviews. This would be a fantastic place for three couples. The bedrooms are spacious and well-appointed with garden showers and jacuzzis in the master suites. The villas are wonderful for those seeking luxury accommodations and with a quiet beach. There is reasonable privacy, however one will not be able to be au natural given the proximity of the three villas.

The grounds are just beautiful. The landscaping creates a tropical oasis, showcasing the villas.
