The British Virgin Islands also loving known as the BVI is the British group of the Virgin Islands. Much less developed than its sister Virgin Islands the US Virgins, it is the sailing mecca of the Caribbean. Climate:
The annual climate for the Virgin Islands is perfect for vacationing year-round. The islands share a sub-tropical climate where summer temperatures average between 79 and 89 degrees Farenheit and winter temperatures average between 72 and 82 degrees Farenheit. Even during its hottest months, the islands benefit from constant trade winds which cool the island. Average monthly rainfall is 100mm.

The US Dollar is the official currency of the British Virgin Islands.
Major credit cards are accepted at many establishments. There are ATM machines at most banks on the islands of Tortola and Virgin Gorda.
